One evening as I was driving home at 4.00 am on a clear stretch of road, no cars were visible in front or behind my car. I was approaching traffic lights when they suddenly changed to red. I heard a voice in my ear say “stop and don’t move!”

I naturally asked why. I was immediately shown pictures in my head of a yellow car pulling up next to me, and when the lights changed to green the driver accelerated at speed, I could see a white car crossing its path where the inevitable accident happened. The white car had jumped the red traffic lights.

I was rather stunned by this event and realised that it was my spirit guide looking after me. I put my hand brake on and switched the engine off to gather my thoughts. A few seconds later I saw this same incident, taking place in front of my eyes. Both cars were a ‘write off’. I was very thankful for the warning but was shaken by what took place.

After two significant events, where Spirit had intervened, I re-evaluated my situation and took heed of what I was meant to be doing with the rest of my life.

I have since been providing information from loved ones who have passed over, to friends and strangers who have asked for reading

Lessons that each one of us has to learn are many and difficult; we need encouragement where hope is lost or tragedy finds us. Most people become angry and despondent over the loss of a loved one.

I believe there are reasons why we as people have to suffer loss. Once we come to understand this, we learn and evolve towards our life’s highest purpose. That will help us to evolve in the Spirit World. (This is the reason we have all chosen to experience life on earth).

I am just beginning to understand why Spirit/souls would choose someone as unlikely as me to convey and communicate their messages of hope to the grieving or insecure people here. They send signs of encouragement to loved ones to help them go on with their chosen path in this life.

Spirits try to communicate with their loved ones in small ways to let them know that they are still around. It could be a familiar smell or lights that go on and off, a sound of footsteps, a knock, or objects having been moved to a different place within the home. Others sense a temperature drop in the surrounding atmosphere. Most people however seem to dismiss such signs as coincidences or an active imagination.

For those of us who have pets, I truly believe that animals are extremely psychic from what I have experienced. Many times when I have seen a spirit soul pass by in the house, I have noticed my cat follow the spirit with me as they pass on their way to wherever they are going.

On other occasions my dog would stare at a blank wall. When I get closer to see what he found so fascinating, I would notice a spirit watching him.

I have also seen the spirit of my German Shepherd dog (who passed away many years ago) lying on the carpet sleeping and my 2 cats fearfully circle round him to pass by not knowing it is only a spirit. They are not at all happy to see him!

I use to think that there was a problem with the carpet when I saw that the cats would not walk on a certain patch of it, until I saw the spirit of my beloved dog.
